From the moment Faith and Ra reached out, they had one simple request: wildflowers. They dreamed of a field full of blooms to celebrate their engagement. We originally had another location planned, but nature had different timing in mind. The wildflowers hadn’t bloomed yet, and we were quickly approaching their date. With just a little research and a lot of hope, I found a hidden gem right on the campus of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
And I’m not even kidding, Notre Dame was our backup location. But as fate would have it, it turned out to be absolutely perfect.
We walked by the water, where the iconic Golden Dome glowed in the distance. And then, as if the universe was in on the plan, we found them: a spot along the water with purple wildflowers, tucked away like they had been waiting just for us.
Faith and Ra were pure magic together. So sweet, so natural, and incredibly photogenic. Their gentle chemistry, the golden light, and the dreaminess of the location made this session one of my all time favorites. There’s something about a couple who fully trusts you that makes creativity flow effortlessly. This wasn’t just an engagement session; it felt like a storybook moment.
