From the very first moment I met Casey and Jaxon, it felt like I was watching a real life love story unfold. Held at the stunning Venue3Two in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Casey and Jaxon’s day was the definition of a romantic and timeless wedding. Venue3Two is a luxury mansion style wedding venue nestled in the heart of Grand Rapids, known for its elegant architecture, lush grounds, and even horses grazing just outside the mansion front door. The soft blue color palette they chose paired beautifully with the refined charm of the venue, creating a cohesive and dreamy wedding aesthetic.
Casey and Jaxon chose not to do a first look, but instead opted for a first touch. A private moment where they held hands around a doorway and read their vows to each other without seeing one another. The anticipation it built was everything. You could feel the butterflies as Jaxon waited to see Casey walk down the aisle for the first time. It was intimate, emotional, and so intentional, a highlight of the entire day.
After saying “I do,” Casey and Jaxon exited the ceremony to a flower toss. It was the shot of the night.
Their bridal party? They brought the party to Venue3Two. And just when we thought the fun couldn’t be topped, Casey snuck away to surprise Jaxon with a stunning outfit change. We staged the surprise in one of the mansion’s elegant bathrooms, where they shared a bold and playful direct flash photo moment that felt straight out of a fashion editorial. Yes—they made out in the bathroom and it was iconic.
As the night wound down, we ended with a classic sparkler send off, surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was the perfect ending to a day full of emotion, celebration, and unforgettable memories. From soft blue florals to heart melting vows, every moment felt like a cinematic dream.
