I am Kailee Marie, a michigan based photographer, graphic designer, educator, and world traveler.

About Kailee Marie

As cliche as it sounds, back in 2012, I picked up a camera and never put it down. I graduated with a Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design and Photography from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2019. It was during this period that I discovered the impact of visual storytelling. Immersed in the world of film photography, I learned to appreciate the art of capturing moments with intention and patience. 

The blend of graphic design and photography studies allowed me to explore these two disciplines, shaping my approach into a seamless aesthetic sensibility. This not only equipped me with the skills to create visually compelling narratives but also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the timeless artistry that lies within every frame. I knew in my heart that my purpose was to capture the love and connection between two humans. I truly strive to tell the story of love and all the things that surround love.

My approach is rooted in the understanding that my role is not just to capture moments but to authentically reflect the personalities and connection of the couple. I strive to go beyond the surface into what makes each partnership special. By fostering a genuine connection with the couples I work with, I aim to create a comfortable space that allows their authentic selves to shine through. It's this dedication to capturing who they are, both as individuals and as a couple, that forms the foundation of my wedding photography philosophy.
